I have what I thought was a young peahen, but when I was looking at her yesterday I noticed that she has black feathers on her chest. I’ve only ever seen this on peacocks not the hens. Is this normal? Is she a hen?

Thanks. I was thinking she looked WE, but I’m not sure where the gene came from. Never had WE before. I got a bunch that look similar to her. Came out of a pen with a white peacock, India Blue Hen, India blue hen with white flights, and two yearling India blue pied peahens. I got white and pied chicks. I thought the rest of the chicks would be IB split white, but now they look WE so would they be IBWE split white? Also could the pieds also be WE?She is definitely a hen, most likely an IB WE or split SP hen.
She looks like a good WE hen to me although the WE and Silver Pied gene will make a light frosting or silvering overall. There are two different types of WE, one is the nice round dot and the other is a splotch derived from Silver Pied. Breed her to a White cock, if she is Dark Pied all the chicks will be Pied. If they are not all Pied then she is WE.Thanks. I was thinking she looked WE, but I’m not sure where the gene came from. Never had WE before. I got a bunch that look similar to her.
