It is but the only one around me that does these types of birds is actually closed.

No, she can look like that for a while, some for hours.

Not necessarily. My hen looked like that for a few hours after she laid her egg. She's back to normal now for the time being anyway.

If she looks like that for a full day and does not pass an egg you need to give her 5.0ml of calcium gluconate. If she still does not pass give another dose that evening.

No, she can look like that for a while, some for hours.

That was what I was wondering. I checked her several times last night up until midnight and she was mildly still doing that but laying down. This morning she was fine.
