I really am hoping that they’re not all cockerels.

@MysteryChicken @Rhodebar Lover @Overo Mare, is Kiwi (black) looking like a cockerel? The other two are cockerels for sure. They are all about 11 weeks old.

Kiwi looks like a pullet right now.

Having trouble getting my most reliable broody onto her nest. I’ve got 10 eggs ready for her.

She is dust bathing right now so I’m going to give it another shot when she’s done.

I couldn’t get my big, reliable Maran to stay on the nest, so I looked at my other 7 (!!) broodies, and tried a couple, and they all refused to stay. I then went to the smallest yet more reliable ones… the Sebright.
She has 8 eggs under her. That’s almost all she can fit under herself. I was hoping to do 10 or more eggs… but that’s all I can do for now.

Pick a number from 1-10 except 8 and 4 (I’ll explain later).
