Peanut’s Adopt-An-Egg Hatch-A-Long

I am really.. really sorry.

Today I candled the eggs.. all are showing signs of development except number 4, the blue egg.

Looks like a yolk. All the eggs have veins except this egg.
Should I scrap it? Peanut needs more space under there- I’m not sure that she’s incubating all the eggs evenly.

Do y’all know if I should scrap the egg or not?

They have been under the broody for over a week- closer to 2 weeks I believe.

Looks infertile to me.

Yes. In the process of treating her.
Treated her 2 weeks ago, treated her last week, and I’m going to treat her today or tomorrow as well.

I am going to use the Rubbing Alcohol method this time because it is the quickest and I don’t want her off the eggs for too long.

Poor girl! Hope you get rid of them soon! I just had to deal with mites myself. I hate those stupid things.

Not yet.

I had 3 EE eggs, only needed 1 to collect, the brand new nesting box pads I bought today fell over on the egg carton, & smashed an EE egg, so I have 2 to collect.
I have 2 Silkie eggs, so 4 more to go before I can set them.

Yay! So eggciting! Mystery will be hatching soon as well . Mine are also due in a couple of weeks! When are they due? (I actually don't know my due date, lol. It'll be a surprise)

Right around May 15/16. Some eggs are younger, so I will need to get the incubator running once the hatch day gets closer. This broody is a first time mom, already better than most broodies I have had.
