PB&J crusts/sandwiches that you are making for your kids (kindergartners) at school are not having enough PB on them that a kid or chicken is going to choke. If your kid isn't eating the crusts it's probably because the PB&J isn't on the outside anyway. We put it in the coop all the time. If you are really worried about it and don't want good food to go to waste, throw it on a baking pan and toast it up a bit to make it more crispy... PB will soak into bread and you'll be all set.
