peanut or Egg??????????????

WOW! Found this today in the nest box. Weird! My first strange egg. LOL!

Most of my ladies are molting, or just molted. So not too many eggs. But was very suprised to see this one.


Any ideas??

It is peanut shaped exactly, with wrinkles or bands in the center.

I hope it is just a fluke weird egg, and does not indicate a problem with any of my girls. Everyone seems normal and fine.

oh yes! I just tried to blow it and it cracked right on one of the lines in the center. I can glue it right back together,no missing peices or other cracks. It had a yolk too!

Weird.
