Peas as treats and soft shelled eggs

You say she eats the chicken's food sometimes. Is it layer? When one has trouble laying a soft shell or no shell then Calcium gluconate can be given or calcium citrate. Also set out oyster shells they will use them as needed. Close to feed bowl not in it. Maybe you are feeding too many things besides duck/chicken feed and that is her problem.

I give peas every day to my flock

I occasionally have one that has a soft shell egg, but then I put a bowl of crushed oyster shells out next to the food dish for a day and after that the problem is gone. Have only had to do that about once a year
