My favorite 2-year old bantie roo got attacked by the LF flock this morning before I got to the pen.

They broke into his corner and flogged him half to death

He's plucked bald and half his face is swollen and bleeding, his right eye is leaking pus and is swollen shut.

What do I do?

I have tetracycline (antibiotics, water soluble) - will this help with the infection?

Can I put antibiotic cream on his eye?

Please help my sweet boy

I would try the neosporin without pain relief. And you can desolve a 1 baby asprin in 1 gallon of water and give him that for the pain. I hope he recovers!

OK thanks... I put neosporin on his face and eye and put him on tetracycline for the infection...

Now I just noticed my other rooster is as bad. I had to pull glued-on, bloody feathers from his beak, he has a lung rattle, gooey eyes and a swollen face.

These boys will be the death of me
