Also, I forgot to mention to the OP to pay attention to what they are wearing into the run. Certain colors (red and pink) provoke more investigation than others. Even materials can draw extra attention. I know that if I want to keep my legs, I absolutely cannot wear sweatpants to tend to the chickens. I have no idea what goes through their little chicken brains, but apparently sweatpants are the most exciting thing ever. Or delicious.

Yep, I wore a different coat to usual when going to feed my chicks and they virtually attacked me, after about 10 seconds they calmed down and I realised the cream slightly bumpy texture on my sleeves looked sooo much like bread that I couldn't help but laugh by the disappointed looks those chicks shot me.
