We just got five baby chicks and one of them who has an odd shaped foot got packed by the others and they keep pecking at her back wing, which made her bleed! What should I do? I separated her with one of the more calmer ones and they seem to be fine together. Any advice?

! Pleased you joined our community! You did the right thing by separating the chick from the ones pecking at her. There is a product called Bluekote that purports to stop the pecking. But the best bet it is to let her get healed up first. You can do some baby chick research in this link if you like: https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/hatching-eggs-and-raising-chicks
And ask questions regarding your chicks here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/11/raising-baby-chicks
Also, you can chat with some poultry local in your state thread here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/270925/find-your-states-thread
Best wishes to you and your flock and thanks for joining BYC!
