Pecking

I have a male Pekin about to be a (1) year old and the past couple of months he's been pecking at everything. Walls, dogs, cats, ducks, people (especially my girlfriend), not me tho he never goes after me, and toes he goes crazy every time he see's toes. What can I do to stop him from pecking, or pecking people at least?

Hormones, they will get the best of drakes, I can vouch for that, I watch my adults drake and his son, 2yrs and 1 yr old, when junior tries to start something with dad, they will fight for a spell then dad will chase junior down and hold him down and make him stay that way for a couple of minutes. I did this with my drake because he was hand raised by me and really wanted me in his harem so I had to show him he maybe top drake in the yard but I am ultimate top drake in his world. so when he came at me to jump up on to my leg or back , or bite my toes I hold him down, put your hand on his back and neck and hold him in a dominant position till he quits fighting then keep him that way for at least a min.. more,. if you are consistent you will notice a difference in short order. My drake is a wonderful drake now.

Wow, that sounds like a terrific idea I'll start doing that today. He's especially worse on mondays cus i clean the ponds and he loves searching the water for toes.

How long did it take your drake to change his attitude completely?
