Karo can be given a few drops at a time. 1 day - about four weeks stick with Karo light. Karo dark is safe for older chicks. Poly-vi-sol a children's vitamin twice a day is useful - the NO IRON kind. Cooked egg is also useful. Don't use raw honey - bad bacteria. Don't use sugar water - often causes pasting and diarrhea.
