Pediatricians Call For a Choke-Proof Hot Dog

True.

Next to go: bathtubs. They will be replaced with gentle aerosol mists. Which will ruin the ozone layer and the kiddies will grow up to die of melanoma.

What my Mom taught me for this precise situation:

1. Chew your food.

2. Don't talk with your mouth full.

I haven't had a problem since!

insane... where does it end! No one should be leaving a young child while while they are eating anyway... its amazing that any of us "older" people made it here alive.
God I walked from a main road in my city in my little school uniform and crossed the harbour for pick up in the next city at age 5....
I slept in the back of a VW Bug... without a seat belt
I drank out of a cup as a toddler
I stayed alone from about 9 on
I jumped on stuff and climbed trees
bathed alone
cooked while very young
sewed my own doll clothes .... ummm OK I did manage to sew my own clothing into the dolls dress on the machine once but never my fingers! hehe

Jeez how did I make it this far... because parents automatically knew that silence was a sign of trouble!

hummmm... how about cut the hot dog length wise or just show the parents what the hotdogs are made of... then the chocking may not even be a concern!

Really though guys, does this not scare the bahoozies out of anyone else? Even the simplest of tasks, rights, whatever you want to call them are being scooped up and re-done, re-made, re-evaluated, etc. and shoved down our throats because the busy body few get their way. It just gets worse and worse.

Yeah THAT'S scary but not a hot dog. Microwave management is out of control. Quick and easy is the new standard, maybe they're trying to make us all fat and lazy ER. Looks like Wall-E is the future...lol! Check your cartoon movies people they are closer to reality than reality TV.

A town not far from me- San Pedro- had a hot dog choking and death experience just a month ago. This was a 13 yr old boy. Probably eating too fast- I feel so bad for the parents.

Really? I mean REALLY? Why do people constantly blame their own mistakes on others... "My kid chocked on a hotdog!"... I just ate 2 hotdogs and I didn't even need a knife to cut it, I just used my fork...

I had no faith in the future of this world... and this just confirmed my beliefs.
