Peeling Hard Boiled Eggs

I find that peeling HB eggs from my small pack of hens to be much more difficult than peeling HB eggs bought from the store. A lot more egg sticks to the shell. Anyone understand why that be?
 
Yes. Your eggs haven't been sitting around in some warehouse for weeks prior to use. Old eggs are easier to peel. Boil your eggs with a tablespoon of salt in the water, and then, after rolling the shells to crack them, use a teaspoon to ease them out of the shell.
