We don't have shops selling chicks here, thankfully. I'll have 100's of chicks by now if we did! I cannot resist the little things, am completely addicted.
I'm just wondering: what happens to the chicks at the shops you're talking about when they don't sell? You know, when they get older and lose their initial new born appeal.

This is exactly what I was just wondering. Our local Mill has quite a few left and I'm resisting the urge to just get "one more" and raise the number of our first ever chickens up to 6! But I keep thinking of those poor babies left behind.

If I didn't live in town, I'd be in trouble because I'd want so many more.
