I have a bunch of new chicks being introduced to several older ones soon that I know have pecked the weaker ones. I’d like to use the peeper or clasp. Any thoughts on which.

they are free raised except at night and while we are vigilant, predators have been around. I don’t want to blind them with peepers. I’d like to use the clasps but not sure how feeding will work.

Any thoughts?

How old are the chicks?
It's normal for older birds to pick at the younger ones. That whole pecking order thing.

Take a video of interactions and post it.

I'm not sure what a clasp is, do you have a link?

Photos of your coop/run and set-up may be helpful.

Age of birds and how much space they have is a factor - I would try to see if things work out on their own before having to resort to peepers, etc.

Great questions from @Wyorp Rock .

Where in this world are you located?
Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.
Please add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, and then it's always there!
