Peeping from the Bator!!

Must be the night for newbie hatchers! My husband text messaged me tonight to let me know that 'We have crackage and wobbling!'. I was at work but he told me to hurry home, as he was scared. LOL! I told him don't worry, I think we've got time. Funny thing is, one of the dogs alerted him by trying to peek into the bator. DH is deaf in one ear and limited hearing in the other. He'd never have heard the peeping on his own! Got my flashlight out and can see pips on 4 eggs, and they are rocking. I've got 10 Mille Fleur d'Uccle (sp?) and 6 blue/splash silkies. Keeping my fingers crossed for all of us!

what day are all you 'peepers' on? Starting day 19 here and soooo anxious to hear a peep!

Set my eggs July 15... pipping and peeping started August 3rd. First chick hatched just after midnight today. So far it's the only one out of the shell. Several others are pipped and rocking...
(sit on hands, sit on hands, sit on hands.....)

So, sounds like the start of day 20. Congrats on the baby! happy hatching! keep us updated.

Yea! I'm up to 4 babies hatched out and doing fine. Pips in several more eggs, some just starting to rock and roll.
