With 18+ acres to range around in, why is it that within 5 minutes of letting my turkeys out of their enclosure, they are at my dining room window trying to figure out what I'm up to?

My husband commented that they look like medalists for the Turkey Olympics with a tie for the Gold medal.

LOL My turkeys do the same thing. As soon as I let them out they follow me back to the house, hop up the front deck steps and stare in through my kitchen window. The Toms will gobble every few mins like "Hey whatcha doin in there? You gonna come out soon?" They will stand there forever until I go out and shoe them off the deck a few times.

Maybe you forgot to give them the days assignment, and they are just waiting for it. Turkeys need direction!

Today they decided that hanging out by the window and tapping on the glass wasn't enough, they needed to put on a parade for my entertainment.
