Congrats!!! are they all duck eggs?Ok so I checked on my eggs. I wasn't going to until the 7th day and today is day 5. I was curious to see if there was anything in them and if not I was going to chunk them before they went bad. Dilexi and Amare are on day 5 incubating and I saw heartbeats in both of them. Decorus, Galea and Polleo are only on day 3 but... I saw little blood vessels in all of them except Polleo. I won't throw it out just in case and I'll candle them again on Day 7. So- so far there is life in 4 of them for sure

Yes maam they sure are although we dont know what kind of ducks. I got them in my wipes warmer. It took me 3 days to keep trying things to get it to stabelize at the perfect temp.
Well i honestly can't say they are the cutest things I've ever seen but they will be cuties soon. So tiny I bet feeding them is a very fragile experience. Did you hatch them too?
So you have birds already nesting? we're frigid with 18" of snow on the way our wild birds are just trying to survive the winter. Bless their hearts I have my feeders full for them.Hahaha not too many people think they are cute. Those are faces only a Mother could love. I think they are adorable. And yes feeding them is a task. This is the first time I have had the pleasure of feeding some for more than 3 days. The syringe i use has a tip the size of a toothpick. And no maam i did not hatch them. They were thrown from the nest. Finch eggs are about the same size as a sweet pea. I wont even attempt that![]()
