Hello dear peapeople,
Some of you are already acquainted with my sweetheart boy Peggy and his action-packed existence, including: rescued by the wildlife rescue, broken leg, pneumonia, kidnapping including having his wings clipped by kidnappers, predator attack, foster home, accusations of duckicide, etc....
Now Peggy is having his biggest adventure: A road trip to a brand new home!
Through the central valley of California, and racing like a whirlwind through the Mojave Desert...
"Whatever you do, don't turn off the AC!"
A pit stop in Flagstaff AZ, and a glimpse of the Petrified Forest and the Painted Desert...
After one of several nights in a Best Western motel (FYI: they take your $20 pet fee and don't ask what kind of pet you have), a stop at the New Mexico Welcome Center Rest Area...
Lucky enough to find more organic romaine lettuce in Albuquerque, and on into big and beautiful Texas!

Where indeed!?
Only the most perfect peafowl paradise of the universe: His new home with Zaz!
Peggy is a very lucky boy indeed to have such an opportunity and such a wonderful new (additional?) mom.
For the record, Zaz's gorgeous photos do not do justice to the beauty of her lush land, birds of all kinds, and fabulous dogs.
And images could never convey her warmth, generosity, kindness, and great sense of humor.
We love you Zaz!
