Hi,
I am worried my Pekin Cochin hen 'Blue' is having reoccurring symptoms of MG. I have been able to hear her wheezing and gasping for a couple of weeks now. And just as I think she may be getting a little better, she seems to be getting worse. I am rlly worried
she hasn't had any bubbles in her eyes but she did once when she was a pullet but they went away as well as the sneezing. Now she is sneezing, gasping, wheezing and clucking strangely almost like a weak gurgle.
Question 1: Does this sound like reoccurring MG symptoms? She didn't seem to be under any stress. And there are no bubbles in the eyes.
Question 2: Could this be something other than MG and could this be bad? We plan to get her back on some new antibiotics as the other stuff didn't do much.
Question 3: Is it normal for her yo be molting like crazy at this time of year: Autumn? I notice she is loosing a great deal if her feathers lately. No bald patches or anything but I see them all in her nesting box and under her perches and I see them fall out when she's walking around or she will pluck a few out when cleaning herself.
Question 4: Is there anything more I can do?
Thankyou
