Pekin color question

Hmmm...I was told to never feed Kale Or Spinach to Poultry so I never have. Only leaves they eat are what they forage for or Romain Lettuce.

I knew spinach was out but I didn't realize kale was too. Hmmm gotta find a new green for him I suppose....

I feed fresh kale to my birds about once a month never had a problem with it. They mainly get romaine lettuce.

I believe something about kale and spinach interferes with calcium absorption and egg shell production, so if your ducks are layers, these greens should be fed in moderation

I give kale to my ducks but They are both drakes so it doesn’t really matter does it?
