Pekin Duck Bill

my female pekin has a very faded looking yellowish bill. also the greenish moldy looking spots. I'm worried cause her bill is also very warm to the touch.

my pekin is about 2 years old. I'm in central pa- hot and humid,lots of rain.shes also not laying eggs consistently like she usually does. my beautiful girl, ricco

Is at dirt on her bill - the mirror side? Or is that your concerned spot?

All of my Pekins right now because of hot weather have warm bills.

that's my concerned dark moldy looking area. her coop is always open during the day while she free ranges. but she cant seem to stay away from her mirror to long.lol

Is she an only duck?

I'm really at a loss as to how a can assist, as I have not dealt with this before. Do you have the option to take her to a vet?

she has a husband(indian runner) coop mate. his bill is fine. I'm taking her to the vet Wednesday. i hope shes ok

I have read on here about spots etc on female Pekins bills it may just be normal hormone stuff but getting a vet to look at her is probably a good idea. Those are adorable pictures
