How can I candle them if she doesnt get off her nest???

I just slip my hand under her an pull out an egg. If you want to candle all then take a marker and add a number start with 1 so you don’t keep pulling the same egg out an candling it.

Well she'll get over it. Wear long sleeve if she is a pincher. But if she hasn't viable eggs why make her sit it's rough on their health.

I gently grab them by the bill, and with the other hand, I grab their body, set them off the nest, and proceed with candling. You can wear gloves, and a long-sleeve shirt if you don't want to be pinched.

How many eggs do they usually have?? Or I guess I should say... what's the most??

I usually see 10-15 eggs, if the bird appears to have a hard time covering them all, some of them should be taken away if they are not far developed.
