I usually see 10-15 eggs, if the bird appears to have a hard time covering them all, some of them should be taken away if they are not far developed.

Okay, shes got maybe 17 under her.. so I'm probably going to try to candle a few...
Shes kicked one out so far.
But it's been 9 days and she's still sitting, other than getting something to eat and drink. So maybe all those eggs are good??

While she’s out keep her from getting back in till you candle that way you can remove any that aren’t good.

I candled some, and two didnt have any development at all.

Did you leave them out? no sense in putting non viable eggs back. Did you see any development in any?

She kicked them out the next morning. Lol.
Will she and the eggs be okay these next couple days?? Its supposed to get cold at night... one night about 36 degrees and the next 32 degrees.

Shes made her nest inside a little house we built, that doesnt have a door that closes and is on the ground outside. Shes not in the woods or anything like that. Lol

If she’s under cover she’ll be fine and those eggs will be just like they are under a down blanket.

Okay, good. After work today I found another egg she must of kicked out, I candled it, and there is a duckling in there for sure. Why would she kick it out if theres a duck in it??
