PEKIN DUCK CAN'T STAND

Another update...

I got some layer pellets today and mixed a little with their scratch feed. Even after medication, the female duck still can't "walk", but I've watched her stand up and stumble over to her nest to brood. She lays an egg everyday! Is there a condition where they lay too many eggs? Is this just her being broody? I've decided to stop taking her eggs, with the thought that she may possibly be straining to replace them, but even after adding the other duck's eggs, she can't get enough. She is sitting on 7 eggs!

I would think niacin deficiency, which can be treated by adding Brewer's yeast to her food. The duck folks would have to tell you how much to add. I'm wonder if the drake(?) is over breeding her and she'd getting physically damaged.

I know quite some time since this issue, but yesterday, the same duck began to limp so much, she just sits down. Before, she would limp slightly, even after given supplements, so I left it since she wasn't really clearly in pain. I'm getting a bad feeling this has something to do with the previous drake, since she wasn't as jacked up before... The drake before has killed a duck from over mating, and I really hope this isn't the same situation. The drake has been gone since February I believe.
I've checked her feet, and there's only a small scratch that has already been covered by a scab. I doubt that's the source of limping. Has anyone else had this issue? She's a two-year-old Pekin (and I've heard they are known for having leg issues due to weight). Any supplements or tips?
