That's a girl! LOL

Put a nesting box in with her with a ceramic egg, or a golf ball will do. She might start using the box. I got my box at Tractor Supply for $10. My girls use theirs religiously. My ducks are free ranging during the day but I pen them at night in their enclosure. I have their nesting box in a crate inside their enclosure. I usually don't let them out of their enclosure until 8 am. I heard somewhere that they are usually finished laying by that time. It mostly has worked. But I HAVE found eggs left randomly on the ground. but this is rare.

I still don't know which duck is actually laying the ones I'm finding.

That's the way it goes! LOL

The only reason I know who is laying right now is that I have 2 Pekins (large eggs) and 1 Black Swedish (small eggs). I am only getting 1 small egg a day. My pekins are molting, just in time for winter, so they aren't laying right now! Yea!!! It sure does look like someone exploded! Poof!!!

Mine went that way until a coyote or bobcat (don't know which) killed 4 of my ducks. I only have these 3 left!

I have a Rouen,pekin,and 2 Campbells. But I'm not sure if it's a Campbell egg or pekin. Wayy too big to be a Rouen

She probably won't lay her first egg until she is close to a year old, or at least 10 months or so.

There are others here who have had 16wk old pekins lay

My pekins started laying around 6 months of age.
