my pekin is more playful than anything and when its time to go into the hutch for the night he rounds everyone up including my two roosters and scoots them in the hutch and waits for their little door to be shut before bedding down at night  silly lil duck

that is so sweet.

I haven't found a club yet so I figured I would start my own! Pekin duck owners unite! Please feel free to share stories, pictures, breed information and most of all, have fun chatting with others about the comical, chatty and beautiful Pekin Duck!

She is so beautiful I have three young pekin ducks, they are my first and so adorable, I just can't get enough haha

Hii, so I'm new to owning ducks but so far so good I was wondering if anyone can tell if my little buns are male or females ? They are approximately 3 months old now.

Do you have a close up? Do any have tail curls yet? If it quacks is a girl and if it is raspy it's a boy. Tail curls are drake feathers and that would mean boy. Nice looking group

I see him. Do the chickens mind that he's there?

no he helps me round the girls up and get them in the coop for the night. if he sees momma come out the back with a little I use for their treats like veggies he sounds off and gets everyone to the gate so they get some but he wont share the peas he loves those. im thinking he was raised with the chickens

that is funny that he won't share the peas. But he is smart that he rounds the hen girls to the gate for goodies.
