My new Pekin ducks joined the chicken flock for the day and boy was it funny!

They must have had a good relationship with chickens at their old farm because they were very interested in befriending the chickens, who were scared to death of them!

Poor things kept running up to the chickens to say hello and then they would all run away. The sheep even took a break from eating breakfast to see what the big, white, chicken-chasing quacking things were. I have not been as entertained as I have been since we got the Pekin ducks in a long time! I wish we had gotten them sooner! Their synchronized waddling is very new to us and never gets old!

That is so sweet and funny. Ducks are amazing. Hopefully the chickens will become accustomed to the web feeted birds. Too cute...
