You can put a temporary divider fence between them. Sometimes things will settle down, but you are right to be concerned. Drakes can seriously hurt, even kill ducks. Many times this does not happen, but it can.Hi everyoneI have 3 pekin ducks about 8 months old, 2 female and 1 drake, recently I have noticed the feathers missing on my girls necks..I know its the drake roughing them up when he is mating but I'm worried he will go to far
is there anything I can do without seperating them ?![]()

I understand about your concern for fairness, but without trying to worry you, a little unfairness is nothing to a mortally injured duck whose life depends on you protecting her.
I agree with Amiga. I'd rather divide the pen with only one having the pool. Put a nice good size pan in the area so the enclosed duck can wash his face![]()
Hey guys! So I have a pekin duck named quacky. He's almost 2 years old. Because of my new work schedule it's too much to take care of him right now and I'm trying to find him a new nice home. I live in New York. Any suggestions?! I have no idea where to bring a duck.
same situation here. Before I got them there were tons needing to be rehomed but now I can't find any.
