Oh, they are so cute. And sweet little thing sits in your lap. I'd love that. Innocent little big babies.

Eeee, good morning to you too, you sweet angel.Good morning!![]()
I didn't have grit for them so I went to tractor supply and got a few things for them today and tried to cheer her up, they were playing in the tub and JoJo was diving under water n showing off she wouldn't get completely wet. They are total opposites but as I was cleaning their coop they were separated for about a minute and both were flipping out. They don't like being apart at all which is cute! But she seems better today, no moments on her back. I gotta be at work at 4:30 so I hope she's alright tonight. My hubby will feed and water them and that's all! Hopefully all goes well!Aaaaw, they cuddle. Sweet things. I don't know why he would do that. I hope there aren't moments of aggression towards her that happens sometimes. Animals are a mystery.
I have 2 Pekins and the one does the same thing so I guess its normal!Hi, my 2 pekins r about 8 days old (drake & hen) my drake has been breathing w/his beak open (panting)? He is not laying under t/heat lamp & where he lays is only about 70° - 75°
Im wondering if this is a pekin trait. He is large & growing fast!. He lays near t/heat lamp at times, usually at night, but never directly under it. He is akready t/boss of t/rest of t/flock. He has attitude! I love his attitude. The 2 pekins i have r my first pekins!
Thanks
I'm always out there with them and they always stay near me or I should say follow me everywhere. Its just a bummer because aside from putting them in at night I was hoping to free range them a few hours a day. I have to admit the eagles are a beautiful sight though! They just need to find their snack somewhere else!!I have not let my ducklings play outside of the coop, and I won't until they're fully grown. We don't have eagles here, just hawks, but it still a big risk. But yes, Julie Bird, they will sit on your lap!
