OK, this picture of your cuties reminds me why I love ducks so much.

If I recall Julie Bird, I thought I read somewhere on here that you can't have ducks where you live... Hopefully someday. I can tell you just adore them!

But now I'm worried right after I posted that. Jojo started flipping n I could here bangind downstairs. Charlie was once again on her back except she wasn't wildly kicking, I flipped her over and she seemed fine yet she was shaking like she was scared. This time there was no human to be afraid of just her n Jojo. What is going on? Maybe he was trying to mate with her and she doesn't like it. They are only a month old, is that possible? I'm trying to think of possibilities, I'm getting worried!!!

They probably wouldn't try mating at only a month old. That doesn't sound good, though. Can you get her to a vet?

You are right. Great memory, JLynnsDuckies. I am a renter and the owner wouldn't allow it plus I don't have the facilities, per se, to support ducks. But I get an immense amount of joy coming on here and seeing pics and interacting with all the wonderful folks who are crazy about ducks and chickens.

I don't have enough space, but they are cuddled up constantly, the above reply says they aren't mating yet so I don't think that's the problem. Every time Charlie does it, JoJo yells for me so I think he's protecting her. I was just trying to think of something

My husband would never let me spend the money to take her to a vet. Plus ivreallyvdont have it. I've spent several hundred on them in the last month and we are arguing BC he says I spend more time with my ducks than my actual family!

Aaaaw, they cuddle. Sweet things. I don't know why he would do that. I hope there aren't moments of aggression towards her that happens sometimes. Animals are a mystery.

I believe I'm the one who recommended this, though I know others have recommended it on here in the past, especially for ducks.

The package is 4 ounces (but make sure).
The package states to mix the entire pouch (4 ounces) per 500 lbs of food.
Let's break it down:
That's 1 ounce of Vitamins & Electrolytes "Plus" per 125 lbs of food
or 0.25 ounces (1/4 ounce) per 31.25 lbs of food
and half of that measurement is 0.125 ounces per 15.63 lbs of food and so on.
If you use this in your duck's food, you do not need to use it in their water or elsewhere as this can lead to overdose (and yes, they can overdose on it).
So, use it in their food OR their water, but not both.

**Please note that mixing instructions are completely different when mixing with water.**

They grow so fast! I love their orange bills! Mine have more of a flesh colored bill. I was hoping they would turn more orange as they got older but I haven't seen any change so far... Its fun to watch these little duckies grow up!
