Lol I sure hope it's normal because mine have all done that! :) I always figured they look super healthy so they must be! But yeah the pillow fight description sounds all too familiar! :)

Yep same here! Between 8 ducks & 9 chickens theres a ton!
 
Hi! I am a first time ducky mommy of a Pekin Duckling. I am still learning...lol I am curious in where to buy diapers for my Bailey. I have searched all over the internet but being as frugal as I am, I want to get the best possible deal for my money. Any suggestions as to where I can order from? When should I order a custom harness? If they take 2 weeks to make and need measurements, do I just wait until she is fully grown? Just trying to be as prepared as I can be for our little duckling.

Don't you think maybe she might be happier with a grassy spot to poo and a wading pool than diapers and a harness? Just sayin'...
 
I love my pekins. At the moment I have two adult pekins and one that is possibly their daughter. We tend to have two pekins in our flock at all times just because we love them. My favorite was a drake called Buttercup but a year ago he died and his mate, Daisy, died recently after being attacked by an eagle. Buttercup would eat out of my hand and would sit with us. Now we have a drake named Dandelion, one named Tigerlily, and their duckling named Clover.

I am a first time duck mom also. My white one is huge but tends to have an actual quack so maybe it's a female.
