Pekin Duck Club!

One of my girls laid their first egg this morning. I thought they were still too young but I put them in a cage away from the boys at night so they won't get picked on all night and this morning there was an egg in there. If they hadn't been in the cage I would have thought it was a chicken egg. The family looked at me like I was crazy for being excited over an egg so I thought I would share it with those who understand.

LOL!  That is ADORABLE!  How'd you do that?

Great looking group, by the way!  :)

Hey!!
Are you asking how I got them to sit like that? Or how they added the speech bubbles lol.

If asking how I got them to sit like that I just snapped the picture at the right time. You should see some of the pictures I have and the videos!
If asking about speech bubbles I'm assuming an app? Lol

Thanks for the compliment!

If they have enough room, are about the same size and age, they will probably adjust over a brief period of time and become good friends. There are however never any guarantees. At the very least they will eventually tolerate one another. If you get a female you risk the single male you currently have over breeding her and causing injury or even death. It is recommended that each male have at least 3 females minimum.

I remember how I felt when one of my Runners laid our first ever duck egg. You'd a thought she had graduated summa cum laude from M.I.T.
