You could try doing another post to see if it will let you upload an image afterward.

We look forward to it. I think you have to have so many posts before you can upload pics. not sure how many but start gabbing with us and before you know you'll be there.

Lots of Pekin owners here on BYC.

Gabbing I can do! We did not plan on getting pekins...my husband sold a trailer to a guy and he said "you have ducks?? We do too, two of them, trying to find them a new home, want them?" & obviously we said yes, is there anything specifically I should know about pekins? We haven't been able to do much research, our others are (or we were told they were, one doesn't look anything like) Rouens. So far they're all getting along nicely :)

It's great that they're getting along well! I can't think of any specific cautions about Pekins other than that they're considerably more talkative than Rouens. That shouldn't be any problem unless yours are very vocal and you have very close neighbors. The two breeds are in the same weight class, so mating injuries aren't a concern from that perspective.

Congratulations!

Thanks! We have a fairly close neighbor but she doesn't hear well and she loves the ducks!..our other neighbors are cows so I do t think they'll be bothered..our chickens go hang out with them all the time...they're all females so there shouldn't be a whole lot of "mating injuries".
I was so worried about integrating them & everything so watching them today I'm super relieved.

Kindly neighbors who are hard of hearing...that's what I wish I had!

Had to take Howard on the hour long drive one way to the avian vet about his bumble. Turns out his joint became septic :( he got some oral antibiotics (I am opened to suggestions on how to administer). He wasn't sure about the trip until he discovered the joy of being a co pilot lol then it was ok.

Then after some organic kale and beet greens on the way home it was nap time lol
