he has 7 other ducks to socialize with, but he's a year younger (other ducks are: DJ is 4, and the rest are 3, excepts Samantha who is 2) than everybody (1) so I'm breeding Carly (pekin) with Freddie (Rouen) to give him some buddies! Hey, ya can't have a Farkle without his gang! (If you don't get the relavence to the name Farkle, look up Farkle Minkus)

Farkle Minkus. I'll look that up. I've never heard of it before. I love the names for all your ducks. Samantha is a cute one. Your Pekin and Rouen mix will be adorable. I envision a larger bird of duck (pekin genes) combined with the roundness of a Rouen. EEEEEEE. Those will need me to squeeze them.

These names are awesome, still. I love the references to fast food. And Gibby. Yay. My male zebra finch is named Jibby.

What fun it is to have all those fun burds to name and enjoy as the cute things they are. Zay is cool. I really like Onyx. Takes creativity to come up with names. Especially unique ones!! Great job.

Ok folks here's one for you. As I've told you before I have duck eggs in my incubator and their Pekin duck eggs which are fairly large. Well it appears as though finally one of my small Swedish hens laid an egg. At least I think it was one of my hens (there's nothing else that goes in that coop). the egg is so small its smaller than my Polish chickens. I'm really having a hard time finding information on this,
anybody can give me any?

First eggs are usually small. They can even get big and small for the first few months. It's normal, don't worry!
