Eggs like to be left alone and not touched very much. If you have to touch it to examine in distress wash hands. They like chick/duck noises.all the time.they do better with sponges aquirium tubing rocks penny's and little water containers. Lock down means don't open it unless you have to.

I have a question about the gender of my 2 beautiful Pekin babies. I know it is difficult to tell when they are ducklings, but they both have these 2 weird really short feathers right above the rest of their tail feathers. I was told this is a sign they might be male, is this true?

I don't think anyone meant to ignore that!
Yes, a curly feather is a drake trait.

Should be any day now... Started with 19 down to 12 so hoping most of them make it since this is my first experience incubating... Would love any tips!!!

New bath time what fun. To big for kitchen sink . No mom I want the phone instead of my bath time. Can we get the phone in water as a toy. No ducks.
