Right know I have the incubators outside in front plunged in. I have 1 gallon of water in each of them.1 cup bleach in each of them. I don't usually add alcohol rubbing 70% isopropyl alcohol what else do I need going to fumigate the incubators. It was so bad last time. It's going to take more then bleach and water and sun.

Little giant at temp 188.8 f humidity 88% on read on top. My little extra hydrometer our not in it at moment. Pro series 90 90 it's as far as it goes on settings. Vents closed on both. Their outside for my sons safety he has bad respotory issues. I can not run my nebulizers outside at moment not enough plugs. What else do I do and do I run them like they our tell 5 pm when partner gets home.

What setting did you have your heating pad on low medium high. I put it down laid the towel over it put the nesting box on top of that. I didn't want duck to eat the cord. I still hope they don't eat the cord coming up out of dog house up to the extension cord. The heat lamp only hit snowflakes eggs. Not hopes eggs so I gave hope my heating pad. It's on low. We lost another egg not developed at all.

Hey guys another question for you, my ducks (mostly our female) have been plucking feathers. They are just over 2 months old aND I'm kinda worried about this. What should I do ton stop this? I hope we don't need to take them to the vet simply because we don't really have the money right now. Any home remedies that we could try? We love these guys ando really hope it's nothing too serious

Autumn, are you sure they aren't just growing their adult feathers? They will be very pink while they are. Especially near the wings.
They could be bored.
They could be itchy.
Remedy for itchy is a good scratch! Be sure they don't have bugs. Dust them with DE if they do.

At 8 weeks old, they actually don't have their adult feathers yet... they have juvie feathers... duck molting in early life is fairly quick and back to back... like they just get fully feathered from their down, and start molting it out for new feathers almost immediately... I think it's about when the wing feathers come in real well the body feathers switch out again...

Are they standing up and grooming and just leave a circle of feathers laying around? That would be molt and not picking... picking is grabbing a billfull and yanking out... check the ends of the feathers and if they are clean, no bits of skin on the pin ends, then they were falling out already... :)
