You def need to keep them warm till you can get a incubator. Idk if they lay them all at once or a few at a time, maybe someone else could answer that? I really hope they all hatch!

I was reading that they lay one a day but it didn't say if they start incubation immediately or wait until they have many to do so.

Sweatpants and human crotch work great!! I'm kidding... A heat lamp should be OK provided the temp is right. Just search online for wood duck incubating temps... And get a hovabator, stat!

t the necessary equipment tomorrow since its 11:03 pm here and bomgarrs isn't open right now. Also can I use the same type if bedding as I do for my pekins?

Keep them all warm... snuggle them under your pillow or something... the other ones might have been laid later. They all might have a chance! Doesn't hurt to try!!

That's what I was thinking. I don't usually move around too much so in just going to snuggle them. I don't know how my fiancé is going to feel about me snuggling eggs but he will have to get over it! Hahaha!! Thank you. Also, when they hatch how long do I need to keep them under the light? When I got my pekins they were ready to be outside and such without help for warmth.

I know for larger ducks like Pekins it's 90 deg the first week and then -5 deg every week after. But if you see them huddling under the light they are cold so make it a lil warmer but if they are trying to stay as far away from the light as they can they are prob to warm.

I have one. We had to give the other back b/c the other one was from her geese that she had me hatch them out for her.
