Is it normal to have a barn full of feathers? The 12 week old pekins are the only white birds I have so that pretty much narrows it down.

Mine are molting, too, and they're the same age as yours. Believe that it's normal at this time of year.

Mine are molting to. I think it is the age and getting into their big duck feathers. The pool is constantly full of feathers. I am guessing this is normal.

Thanks, kids. 12 weeks new to duck raising here. At least somebody had the decency to ask for a good home for them (on Freecycle) before who-knows-what would have happened. I got a really 'cool' video of them today meeting the puppy the same time the pool was cleaned out, but can't figure out how to attach it. It's almost 100 degrees here. I just got 2 Pekin ducks and they are so fun ro watch. They are mojo and jojo about 4 months old.
