Quick question: today I bought four ducklings from the bin at the pet store. They said they are all 2 week old Pekins.

Two of the ducklings have a longer, more yellow beak and they have a smidge of black on the top of their head.

The other two ducklings have shorter, more pinkish beaks and no black on the top of their heads.

So, are these differences indicative of gender? Or, did the store slip some other breed of duck into the Pekin bin?

Help, please!

The beak colour happens, i have a half dozen and half have the "pinkish" bill, the other half have the orange. The black spot on the head though? can you show pics??
