Folks question for y'all, I purchased my ducklings two days ago they're about four or five days old now. Yesterday I noticed they were sleeping in the middle of the brooder box today they are at the furthest end of the box from the heat lamp. Its seventy degrees in the room they're in wondering if they're just warm enough or if I should encourage them to the end with the lamp. They seem fine I don't notice anyone looking cold or ill.

Never fix sumptin that ain't broke! Unless they're shivering or panting like mad, they'll find the goldilocks zone they like best!

I brought my two pekin ducklings outside for the first time today and they LOVED it! Their tail feathers are growing in and it is so cute when they wag their tails.

I love seeing ducks wag their tails. Crax me up.

I have 2 Pekin Ducks, 1 male and 1 female. They are just over a year old. I have not had any eggs out of them yet. How long before they start laying?

Also, he is constantly mating and going after her to where her neck is almost raw. I feel bad for her. Should I get another female and if so, do they have to be a certain age? I'm worried if I get a couple more babies. That the older ones would attack them.
