LOL...ohmygarsh! @kyexotics wouldn't this be just torturing the babies??
The babies? I'd say the torture is on the owner who has to try and put it on! I could see a lot of this!

And yay, I'm not a fan and wouldn't put the duck thru that, but I truly believe if you started them as a duckling doing it, they'd like it!...If I wanted to go thru that again, my wife would prefer it be on another people baby...

@Julie Bird
  We need to get you a couple of ducks, woman!  I understand you can't have them right now.  Is that because of where you live?
I see you living vicariously through the people and pictures on here, but if anyone deserves duckies, it's you!  You have so much love for these babies!
Oh, thank you so much jhall6293. I am a renter in a condo and it would never be allowed. But I do enjoy this forum with all the cuties and wonderful people on here. It's neat hanging around folks such as yourself that get it about ducks. Most people could care less.

Precious little water birds. Glad she remembered the steps.
Me too, because she really doesn't want me to "help" her! If doesn't involve peas she would really rather explore. On the other hand the little one in the pool is my snuggler. Its pretty funny because she's quacking and the one in the pool still has the baby peeps.

My ducks freaked out today when I went to pick them up. Hooting and hollering like I was going to eat them. After a lil research and I mean lil, it said Pekins aren't the best ducks to have as pets. Are they ****** they are house ducks? I have them in a big brooder. There are only two of them. I'm worried they hate me. I feel like maybe I'm not giving them enough attention!

Our experience seems to be they follow the most timid who is the first to freak out and it becomes a monkey see monkey do...We had 6 at one time and it was definitely mob mentality[of the most timid]...But then I've seen some that are friendly as a puppy! I wish...
