Pekin Duck Club!

I have only ever used brewers yeast as it is easy to just sprinkle a spoon on their food each time I feed them. I have always been leery of using pills since it seems it would be easy to overdose them.

You should be able to find it in most health food stores plus both Walmart and Walgreens sell it under their store labels.

Some pictures of Henry and Hazel. My bullies.

Your Henry looks like our Howard, also a bully

Yes he could of,
Also I don't know if you have children but chasing ducks should be discouraged it is fun for kids but can really injure ducks legs.

I'd start using some brewers yeast and let the duck have some rest which means no running around for a while just like if one of us sprained an ankle we have to rest and water therapy but making sure the duckling can get in and out of the pool with out difficulty even when their legs are working 100%. you can also make up a warm water and Epsom salt solution and soak the legs in it I use a small half gallon bucket mix up the salt and warm water then put my duck in feet first it is easier to soak both than trying to do just one Hold on to the duck and try to keep it in the water at least 5 min longer if you can soak daily till you see it is completely healed half cup ES to half gallon of warm water. FYI do not let ducks drink ES water it is also a laxative.

He seems to be favoring his right foot, but there are no sores, cuts scrapes or other apparent injury

Happens frequently here...Drake chases duck for sex, duck trips over rake or hole dog dug and wallah, limping duck for a few days...If it's a duck, and she'll let us, we'll bring in house to keep drakes from trying to chase her down and make her run on bad leg...Heck, a couple times a year I twist something on something a duck or dog left somewhere!
