Yesterday I finally got the ramps in place for the ducks to join the chickens. It took some encouraging to go into new territory, but they seemed okay with it.
Let me kinda re-phrase. The ducks have waddled into the chicken run during free range, and have stuck their heads into the coop. So they have seen it. It is new because they haven't been inside until now. Moving on with my story...
They got up the ramp, and spent a while checking out the chicken pen. Then I encouraged them to go outside. Once they realized where they were, they made haste to get out the run door, and join the chickens in the Lilac bush. I have never seen the ducks in the bush before. It was interesting.
I went out to be sure the ducks weren't trying to get into their old door, and found them snuggled down in their pen already.

I will go out in a minute to see if they are outside again, or if they are in need of encouragement.
