For the Pekin Duck Club, which is a thread, there is a pull-down menu below where we write our posts.

It says (with a little blue box and white check mark to the left) "Get notified when others reply:

Then you can choose from five options. The last one is "Don't Subscribe." Aside from not participating in the Club thread, that is all that would link you to the thread.

As far as removing your account from BYC altogether, I don't know about that. But I am sure that is a question that is answered elsewhere - there is a forum for those kinds of questions: Forum Information and FAQs.

I had already dumped the water with3 in it out. and while we were out of sight he got cheep cheep and had already moved him out on the ground.  and we were trying to take care of him get back outside and he had already pulled another out of the nest. :mad:   she helped me separate him from mom . and MOM done so good after that we put cheep cheep back in the nest. then someone told me I had to be wrong that they had never heard of the drake doing that. so my husband let Donald our drake back with mom{daisy} we were out there finishing the bigger pin and we seen him jump on her back peck her in the neck and grab little duckie momo by the neck and run and drop him in the pool. so we had no choice but to put him in a cage next to her.. do you think he will be ok, in a  small cage for a couple days? I know they both seem happier with him close...:confused:

He will be fine in a small cage. He won't be HAPPY but he'll survive.
Sorry you lost the babies. Do you have any left or did he kill them all?
 
I noticed that Mr. Shivers was developing bliaters... so I looked it up, and its bumble foot!! I gave him a nice warm bath. ...and even in the warm water he shivered. I dried him off, and he is under the heat lamp again today. Im off to the store for some more spray and gauze and ace bandages to cover it.

Any idea how I go about letting people know of a bad experience I had with one of the sponsors of BYC? I ordered ducks and specifically stated what type I wanted. Being an inexperienced duck person I didn't know what I got until they are older. I was already attached to them so didn't ask for a refund. I contacted the company about a week ago (ducklings are 8 weeks) explaining the problem and not wanting a refund but felt that they needed to know and to talk to their people and let them know that when a person states they don't want something you DON'T give them that something. I have yet to hear anything from the company!

I told the company I would let people know of their ineptness. I think people ought to know about this so it won't happen to someone else.

we got him out in time for these 4 Lil cuties to be safe .
 
Mine our separated for the same reason. Intell I can get a handle on these hatch. He is in lock down in another cage. I can't do my incubators. I have to work on garden and my sons schooling. He has fallen behind .
