I recently lost one of my ducks to a predator the day before one of my ducks wondered into the next door empty space which has nothing but plants and trees & luckily came out on the time and she came out to my voice but was injured it seems like a bite that she managed to get away from..the wounds are fairly big too big for a rCoon to have made them..the next day my ducks were out and about and I couldn't find one of them nothing no blood nothing as if something just picked her up.it wasn't until the next morning we found her next door unfortunelty she passed can anyone give me any advice will this predator keep coming back now? I have made sure they no longer have a way in next door but I fear this predator is coming in my yard

Sounds like a dog or coyote. But once they have figured out you have dinner, they will continue to return.

I have a crested jumbo (I think) Pekin. She is about 3 months old. I have a flock of 7, 2 Cayuga, 2 Black Swedish and 3 Pekin, all hens.
