Hello,
I am new to using this site but have been reading a lot of these threads since I've had my ducks. I have 2 Peking ducks both about 1 year and 2 months old. One female and one male. My female duck is getting ready to have ducklings which we expect to hatch in a few days. However, my female bruised her leg getting out of her pond a few days ago and has been flopping onto her belly/chest and has trouble getting up for a few seconds. My drake has been hovering over her constantly. Then this morning when we woke up my female had a wet eye. At first we thought she had hurt it but no scrape, bruising, etc. I picked up some fowl vitamin drops to add to her water and some antibiotic cream... This evening after wiping the area around her eye clean it was foaming a little bit. So we put her in our shower with a container of water for a few minutes and she drank and cleaned her face. I'm not sure what to do. Any suggestions? I love my ducks more than anything, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry about that, however post the question in the main Pekin thread, you'll likely get more educated responses.
