Hi! I am new to everything about hatching. Thank you for these forums! We have 2 Pekin Duck eggs from our ducks and 1 externally pipped yesterday and stopped around 8pm with the following pic progress. I see a “crack?” In the membrane under it this morning. Humidity is at 72% only fluctuating a couple percents throughout. I believe the egg is moving but don’t know when to lift the lid to check on things as well as not disturbing the other duck egg which looks like no progress yet. I also can’t find if ducks make noise that you can hear inside the shell so whatever help is greatly appreciated. I have 4 little boys that are so excited to see these babies and am willing to do whatever but I need to know what that is. Thank you.

Lifting the lid in my dry climate is not good at all as our humidity is around 10%. I am a fan of not lifting the lid at all. Patience is best. It is up to them to hatch.

Thank you. That one started moving more in the past hour so hopefully. Fingers crossed
