We have a 1 year old Pekin Drake - we have no other birds. He sleeps in a chicken coop - two levels good size. We have noticed he will flap his wings in the coop while we are letting him out - but he never seemed injured.
The last 5 days have been the same. He looks normal - no drooping wing
Morning - he will be unable to flap his wings which he likes to do when he is let out. He runs out and flaps - when he tries the wings hit the ground and he falls to his tummy.
Acting completely normal - spends the day eating and drinking - he normally does not flap his wings only in the morning or if you throw him a treat.
Nighttime - he flaps his wings when seeing his dinner - the flapping seems a little off but not like in the morning.
Check his wing - nothing seems to be wrong but his wing is also not getting much better.
We could take him to a vet - but I would hate to spend the money if there is nothing wrong.
